Emmanuel has 19 years of investment experience in technology, real estate and energy infrastructure. He has advised technology entrepreneurs and start-ups, with a focus on big data and Fintech.
Previously he co-founded 1OAK Financial Group, a London-based alternative investment manager that notably held a pre-IPO investment in Twitter Inc. Previously, Emmanuel was head of Investments at Mubadala in Abu Dhabi, the creators of Masdar City, a $25bn landmark “green” real-estate project. Emmanuel spent 10 years as an investment banker in London and New York at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Citigroup. He was involved in the origination and execution of $40bn M&A, equity and debt assignments in Continental Europe, the US and the Middle East across the real estate, infrastructure and technology sectors.
Emmanuel holds a MSc in Management and Finance from HEC Grande Ecole, Paris and a MSc in Management from CEMS.
Head of Platforms & Founder
Thomas has over 16 years of experience in real estate investment, finance and development.
Most recently, he was the founder and CEO of Limmat Group, a real estate private equity company focusing on investing and developing real estate projects in Europe and the US.
Thomas previously held positions at leading financial institutions such as Lehman Brothers, KPMG and Ernst & Young with a focus on real estate investment banking and corporate finance advisory.
Thomas holds a Master of Business Administration and a Doctor of Economics from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, an MSc in Real Estate Development from Columbia University and an MDes in Real Estate Investment from Harvard University.
Head of Valuation
With over 40 years of property specific valuation and advisory experience, Mr Francois has advised a wide range of French and foreign investors, banks, public bodies and corporate end users on real estate issues.
He has also played an active part in developing valuation and financial reporting standards in Europe. Mr François’ former client experience includes working with Bourdais, which merged in 2003 with CB Richard Ellis to become CBRE.
He has been CEO of Valuation Advisory activities at Bourdais/CBRE France for over 25 years and chaired several French and European professional bodies, including Institut Français de l’Expertise immobilière and Tegova.
He is also a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Chief Technical Officer
Rafal has over 16 years of software engineering and delivery experience out of which almost 7 years in finance industry.
Most recently, he was Chief Architect at Aquis Exchange Ltd., which is an established MTF and trading technology provider. Prior to this he was designing trading systems and risk management tools for Marble Bar Asset Management LLP - London based hedge fund. Before he moved to finance, he was responsible for design and delivery B2B e-commerce systems and bespoke enterprise applications.
Rafal holds Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from European University in Warsaw.
Head of Investments
Konstantin is a member of BrickVest’s Investment Team and is focused on sourcing, analysing and executing real estate investment opportunities.
Previously, Konstantin was at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, where he focused on origination and execution of equity, senior debt, mezzanine, and other subordinate debt secured by real estate assets and operating companies. Konstantin led deal teams to execute opportunistic and value-add transactions across multiple asset types in Europe and Middle East.
Konstantin holds an MPhil in Real Estate Finance from the University of Cambridge.
Frank has over 13 years of experience in loan and real estate investment, finance and development.
Most recently, he was Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Zinsbaustein, a crowd investment platform in Germany focusing on Business Development, Investments and Operations. Frank previously held positions at leading investment and advisory companies such as Castlelake L.P., Shinsei Bank Group and Ernst & Young with a focus on loan and real estate investment as well as corporate finance advisory throughout Europe.
Frank holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Saarbrücken.
Remi ANTONINI, FRICS, CFA
Head of Funds management & Rating
Remi Antonini brings 18 years of experience in real estate investment research and analysis to his role as Head of BrickVest Ratings.
He is founder and managing partner of Menkaura, an independent real estate advisory firm. Previously, he headed the European real estate investment research teams at Goldman Sachs and then Exane BNP Paribas. He was named the best sell-side analyst for European real estate in the 2008 Extel survey and was the 2007 winner of the Trophée des SIIC for best analyst on French real estate.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a CFA Charterholder (Chartered Financial Analyst).
Rémi graduated from HEC Paris School of Management.
Head of Legal
Charlie is our Head of Legal and is an English qualified lawyer.
Charlie started his career at the international law firm, Herbert Smith Freehills LLP where he qualified as a corporate lawyer. He also spent some time as an associate in the corporate department of the US firm, Paul Hastingsí London office. At both firms, his primary focus was private and public M&A transactions, as well as equity capital markets deals.
Prior to joining Brickvest, Charlie was internal counsel for Legal & General Investment Management Real Assets, the £25billion AUM real estate investment management arm of the UKís biggest asset manager. There he was responsible for advising on fund management, corporate transactions and matters relating to governance, regulation and risk management.
Charlie is a graduate of the University of London, The University of Law and BBP Law School.
COO and Markets & Platform Solutions
Dominic joins BrickVest as Chief Operating Officer,(Markets & Platform Solutions), responsible for overseeing the growth of BrickVestís operating infrastructure as it expands into new markets and in readiness for the launch of BrickVestís Debt platform in Q3 this year.
With a 20 year career in banking, consulting and most recently as COO of a FinTech lending start-up, Dominic brings a successful track record in running and scaling high growth businesses, experience which includes the implementation of effective operating models, entry into new markets, regulated entity structuring, re-platforming of enterprise technology and PaaS/SaaS service delivery.
Dominic previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer, Electronic Trading Technology at Deutsche Bank and holds a MSc in Information Systems & Business Management from the University of Bournemouth.
Chief Product Officer
Francesco joined BrickVest as Chief Product Officer, and is responsible for the companyís Product Strategy and Roadmap.
His domain is the development of open or closed digital ecosystems and marketplaces, with networks of users that exchange financial or non-financial instruments, data, information, services, or payments.
Prior to joining BrickVest, Francesco was Head of e-Trading at GFI Group, now part of BGC Partners, where he coordinated non-voice brokerage initiatives across markets and run E-credit globally. He worked between New York and London and operated across multiple national and supranational regulatory frameworks.
Francesco began his career in Italy in 1989, where he worked as a management consultant, marketing consultant and mass-media sales manager, before moving to London.
He holds an MBA from the London Business School and a degree in international business and exchange markets from IUN Naples, Italy. and is a regular lecturer on financial markets, related technologies and innovations.
Chief Marketing Officer
David is our Marketing Officer. He has more than 15 years of experience in digital marketing as an entrepreneur, manager, teacher, and consultant.
David holds an MSc in Management and Finance from HEC Grande Ecole, Paris and an MSc in Finance and Marketing from CEMS.
Salvatore is a Business Associate at BrickVest. He started his career at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) in Italy, where he was involved in several projects. His main responsibilities included project management, data analysis, modelling and reporting to Top Management.
Salvatore holds a MSc in Business and Management from LUISS University, and his academic background includes six months at BI University of Oslo.
