Harvest Active 1, our new active-strategy fund

BrickVest, the London-based online real estate investment platform, today announces the launch of its active-strategy fund series, Harvest Active Funds. Harvest Active Funds’ goal is to facilitate liquidity into the secondary market, providing unique advantages to both buyers and sellers.

The first fund of the series, Harvest Active 1 (‘the Fund’), is currently open for acquiring a minority stake in a core asset portfolio located in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. The portfolio currently consists of four assets; three offices and one retail site, which are already generating tens of millions in net annual rental income. Occupancy rates for all existing assets stands at 96%.

This operation is made in partnership with HB Reavis, one of the leading real estate developers with a strong presence in CEE, Germany and the UK.

After this initial investment, the Fund will have a mandate to actively source and trade shares in the underlying investment on the secondary market. This strategy aims to generate enhanced returns by acquiring shares below net asset value, while providing liquidity to the shareholders.

Harvest Active 1 is currently distributed through BrickVest Access, BrickVest’s AIFM digital fund distribution and liquidity platform supported by a community of 6,000 investors.

Emmanuel Lumineau, CEO at BrickVest, commented: “_The launch of Harvest Active series showcases BrickVest’s innovative approach to real estate investment. Illiquidity has traditionally been one of the main barriers to entry for real estate investors but through the Harvest Active Funds they can access a fairly priced secondary market, which is key to generating enhanced returns._”
